Hope Notes uses SMS text messaging to provide account-related and security communications, including one-time passwords (OTP), verification codes, login authentication, and other security-related notifications.

SMS Opt-In

Users opt in to receive SMS messages from Hope Notes by voluntarily providing their mobile telephone number and requesting or enabling SMS-based verification or authentication within the Hope Notes application.

Before SMS messaging is enabled, users are informed that their telephone number may be used to send authentication and account-security text messages.

By providing a mobile number and enabling SMS verification, the user expressly consents to receive automated SMS messages from Hope Notes for authentication and account-security purposes.

After opting out, the user will no longer receive SMS messages through this messaging program unless they subsequently opt in again.

Users may also disable SMS authentication within Hope Notes when that option is available.
